Omega. Additional Information

Omega. Planetary Production

Once you have Omega, a fundamentally new way to earn in-game currency becomes available: mining and producing resources from planets in the solar system. Considering that Omega requires 50,000 ISK per day to purchase 500 PLEX and extend Omega status for the next month, planetary production becomes a great way to AFK.

Planetary production and resource extraction

Costs: 5-10,000 ISK for planetary command centers.

Benefit: 30-180 days of AFK until Omega status.

How does all this work?

In the game, each system has planets, which are further divided into different types: gas, desert, storm, lava, water, ice, etc. With Omega status and advanced planetary production skills, you can install command centers on planets depending on the type of celestial body.

The planet should be extracted using an extractor for the simplest T0 resources, which can be sold immediately or put into production at the planet's factories to obtain T1, T2, T3, and T4 materials. As you might have guessed, the more complex the material, the more expensive it is. The resulting resources are then launched into orbit by rocket, and from there, the loot is collected through customs and transferred to your ship. It's best to use a specialized ship for the Epithal planetary.

A single character with a skill level of 5 will have access to six planets. However, since one account can have three characters, the potential number of planets increases to 18. When you purchase an Omega, it is granted not to one character, but to the entire account of three multipliers.

Strategies for earning money in the planetary:

Again, everything depends on your playstyle and the time you're willing to spend. The most common activities on planets:

1. Extraction of T0 materials - the simplest type of production. You'll often need to transport resources into orbit, but for a minimum of skill and for familiarization, this strategy is perfect. Here, you need to place extractors, a warehouse, and a rocket on the planet.

2. Extraction of T0 and production of T2 from them is the AFK income; we'll need two extractors, four T1 and two T2 factories, as well as a rocket and a warehouse.

3. Import to the planet T0 and production of T2 . In other words, here you buy the simplest, cheap planetary materials, which are brought to the planet, converted into T2 at factories for sale and export.

4. Import to the planet T2 and production of T4 . Same as the previous strategy, only the materials are more expensive.

This guide will examine the second strategy, assuming the skill is leveled to 4 for upgrading the Command Center and the available number of planets is 5. This means both skills are leveled to 4 on all three characters on an Omega account. This is because at 4, two skills can be leveled relatively quickly within a month on three multiplayer characters. Leveling the two main planetary skills (number of planets, upgrading the Command Center) to 5 will take up to +40 days on one character, or an additional 4 months for all three characters.

The Scanning Accuracy skill will tell you where to best place drills for extractor mining. However, accuracy does not increase the amount of resources on a planet.

What's best to produce? It's impossible to say for sure; you need to look at the planet type and its resources, specifically, what T1 and T2 items can be made from the materials obtained. There are planetary

services and tables that show what can be made from what planet and on what planet. It looks something like this:

Many people are abandoning planetary production here, as not everyone enjoys counting. This is especially true if the planetary is built in the high-sector with foreign customs, which have a higher tax rate.

Where should you build a planetary?

Ideally, it's best to consider high-security, low-security, or null-security zones, as relatively few people build them there, and planets replenish their resources more frequently than in the high-sector, plus the resources themselves are much more plentiful. It's good when a corporation owns a cytka (Raytaru, Athanor, Astrakhus, etc.) in the system with the planetary, and the customs on the planets are also owned by it. It's even better when the system has many different types of planets; this expands the range of materials produced, and eliminates the need to purchase or import anything special for the production of T3-T4 components.

CCP makes money when your ship gets blown up, or when you blow up your opponent's ship. Afterward, you'll be in the game every day to recoup your losses or pay CCP money. That's why wars, conflicts, and creepers on warpgates are necessary. You can beat the game if you don't lose your ISK.

If this isn't possible, try planetary solo in lowsec, but you'll have to get a cloakroom for your freighter. As for planetary in highsec, profits drop several times due to depleted planets and dragon taxes on foreign customs.

Can you give a specific example of earnings?

Yes, we're considering a strategy with T2 mining and production on a planet in highsec or lowsec, without importing materials. All three characters have skill levels of 4. For buildings, we'll need:

- two extractors;

- a warehouse;

- four T1 factories;

- two T2 factories;

- a rocket.

Is placing buildings right next to each other a fetish or a perversion? Do all perverted planetary builders do this? Yes, they do, but not because they're perverts, but because it uses less energy when you link structures together, which is vital for extractors (the number of drills for resource collection).

Next, we look at what T0 materials are available on the planet and what two types of T1 can be made into T2. We select a suitable T2 component based on available resources and the current price in the trade network. Then, we plot a route from the T2 factory to the rocket. From four T1 factories, we distribute an equal amount of each resource to the T2 factories to ensure uninterrupted operation. We also set up two extractors to extract and route the two types of T0 materials required for the T1 factories.

The route from the extractors can be routed either to the T1 factories and the remainder to the warehouse, or directly to the warehouse and then from there to the factories. This is done to ensure uninterrupted production, which is essential for AFK farming on a planetary system. We set the extractor cycle to three days, and ensure that at least 12,000 of the selected resource are extracted per hour, 6,000 each for the two T1 factories. We do the same with the second extractor and adjust the amount of ore produced, the installed drills, and their placement on the planet. Depending on the deposits and resource types, you will extract different amounts of raw materials.

After all these manipulations on three characters, you can earn up to 50,000 ISK per month from one planet in the form of T2 materials. We have 15 of them, so 750,000 ISK for running extractors on each planet once every 3-4 days and transporting the loot under dangers for sale once a month. Seems like a good AFK income, don't you think?

Furthermore, you can set the extractors to a 24-hour cycle and extract more T0 resources, and use the extra energy and CPU to build two more T1 factories and one T2 factory, thus increasing earnings by 50%. If you spend four months on planetary skills at 5, you'll gain three more planets and more energy for the reactor and CPU. You'll have to figure out how much ISK this translates into. My goal is simple: to show one way to use your omega time productively.

Will the planetary still work when the omega is gone?

Yes and no, extractors can still be launched for mining, routes can be created, and production can be changed. What you can't do is see the resources on the planet, and which ones are where, so you can reposition the drills. Nor can you lift materials into orbit for export.

One idea is to produce and store T2 resources in warehouses while continuing to run the extractors. Once you've accumulated 500 PLEX in game currency, you can recoup your costs with the planetary \0/, and you'll have the omega back without losing any funds.

That's all for now. If you have any questions on this topic, please leave a comment.
