Alpha. Other Ways to Earn Income

In addition to the most common ways to earn income, there are other specific ways to accumulate Omega status or simply multiply/spend your ISK. This doesn't mean that the activities discussed here will generate little income; it means you'll need to get the hang of them first, and second, test them out for yourself, as the information below may be incomplete or incorrect. We'll cover: Discovery, the Abyss, Faction Wars, and the Triglav Invasion.

Project "Discovery."

Cost: 1 hour per day.

Benefit: 10kk+ (depending on skill points - Omega 20kk per hour). 2-5 months of Omega status.

With the updated Discovery Project, earning ISK has become easier! The goal is to spend an hour drawing triangles or diamonds, depending on your preference, to increase your accuracy and thereby earn up to 99,000 ISK for data analysis. Also, with each level, you'll receive a crate with ship skins; sometimes they're cheap at 100,000 ISK, while other times the price can reach 70,000,000 ISK for a Maser or Titan. A decent income for Alpha, but this happiness will only last as long as your skill points allow (1,000,000 SP = 25 levels in Discovery). Once you've maxed out your skills, you'll only get ISK from Discovery. On average, you can farm 10kk per hour (20kk on Omega), and then there's a 24-hour cooldown that resets after a server restart.

It's very convenient to use Discovery while mining or flying on autopilot, especially if it gives ship skins. You can sell them by flying to Jita, going to the Trade Hub, and clicking "Item Issue." Click "Unpack" the skin containers and check their prices. Put the skins on a non-instant sale at a price 20% below market price; within 24 hours, almost all your orders are sold out. Without skins, Discovery becomes a nightmare if you need money urgently. Sometimes it seems like you could earn even more in this time, but the triangles are drawn by sick people... Well, that's just it.

Dead Abyss

Costs: 12kk+ ISK per ship

Benefit: 5-10kk per 20 minutes to an unknown amount of ISK (Omega days unknown)

Passing the abyss on a frigate for 12kk without pumping, level 1 Dark filament:

Basically, the game has "Abyssal Threads," which you can fly to by activating a thread while in space. You can fly them on a variety of frigates and ships, depending on the difficulty. You can identify them by the dashes at the top of the threads themselves. When you activate one, a portal to the Abyss opens. We enter and are thrown into a battle against Triglav ships (I think). You have 20 minutes to go through three rooms, kill everyone, collect the loot, and exit the Abyss (I think). If you are killed or time runs out, the ship is destroyed along with the capsule, irrevocably.

Whether they are easy to make, and how much you can carry out of a high-level Abyss and on what means, is something you'll have to test yourself, as unfortunately I don't have that information. Try asking around in the game's dedicated chat channel. I forgot to add that you need to jump from a safe place in space, between planets in an empty system, as creepers can scan the entrance with combat probes and wait for you to bring them loot from the abyss at the exit.

Faction Warfare

Costs: 2kk-12kk per ship

Benefit: 15kk-45kk per 15 minutes (Omega Days unknown)

To participate in FW, you must not be a corporation member and join the militia for one of the sides: Amarr + Caldar or Gallent + Minmatar. FW is usually done by Mults and second characters, flying frigates alone or with other players in a fleet. Once you join the militia for one of the sides, the enemy half of space will automatically start shooting at you in their territory and other players in the enemy militia will be able to kill you with impunity, even in highsec! You can join the militia at the corresponding NPC station. It's usually recommended to play FW for the currently winning side, as this provides a significant (apparently) bonus to the reward.

CCP makes money when your ship gets blown up, or when you blow up your opponent's ship. Afterward, you'll be in the game every day to recoup your losses or pay CCP money. That's why wars, conflicts, and creepers on warpgates are necessary. You can beat the game if you don't lose your ISK.

The idea is to find low-sec zones where factional warfare is taking place and fly there in a frigate. There will be three beacons in the system: one for small ships, one for medium ships, and one for large ships. Fly to the beacon for small ships, and if there are no frigates on the scan, fly to the beacon, start spinning the tree, and pick off NPCs. Within 15 minutes, assuming no enemies arrive and you haven't been killed, or your allies haven't killed you (this happens), you'll receive 15-45,000 reward points (I think), which are awarded for completing level 3 Agents . Essentially, this is 15-45,000 ISK if you withdraw LP through the store.

Which frigates should you use? A Gallente Tristan-class drone carrier with combat fit and maxed-out drones on Multiplayer is recommended for starters. It's very convenient to build a FW with a fleet of several frigates; in addition to the LP, you can also assemble expensive ship modules (in theory). If several ships are spinning the tree, the reward is distributed equally among the participants (not guaranteed).

Triglav Invasion

Costs: 2kk-100kk+

Benefit: 5kk+ (Omega Days unknown)

The final, and riskiest, method of earning money requires searching the Agency for systems where the Triglavian invasion has begun. The system hasn't yet fallen below 0.5 security, and Edencom hasn't been able to build an "Edencom Fortress." Triglavian and Edencom NPC ships will battle each other there, dropping loot (blue wrecks) that can be collected and salvaged, as salvaging is often expensive. You need to build a cheap salvage ship like the Algos or something with a fast warp, as you understand that where there are a lot of ISK, there will be a lot of creepers.

They'll try to kill you, and with their fleet, in the most cynical way possible: they'll slap a scraper on you and wait for the Triglavians to arrive and kill you. This isn't even for the ISK, but simply for fun. Therefore, we learn how to quickly collect loot, store it at a station, or even transport it out of the system entirely. You could install warp stabilizers on a frigate instead of inertial stabilizers on the warp. Maybe it'll work better? Who knows.

Triglav and Edencom fight not only at warp gates and stations, they also fight on asteroid belts, planetary moons, and near the planets themselves. You need to fly and search for blue wrecks. You can try installing several tractors to collect wrecks for you, but other players can cut them down and steal them. If a Triglav arrives, warp to a station or a safe beech in space ( as in a WI scan ), and it's better to have several, as other players will search for you with combat probes to kill you. This applies to earning money through salvage.

There's little information about farming Triglav on combat ships. The only information and assumptions are that this can be done with two Praxis ships, or with Edenkom cruisers, which have an area-of-effect fire, perfect for swarms of ships during an invasion. The wrecks will be yours, and you'll be less afraid of being killed (though this is most likely not the case). If Triglav has lowered the system's defenses below 0.5, you can forget about flying altogether. Now it's low-sec or wild nullsec, where chaos and anarchy reign.

It's with chaos and anarchy that we conclude this series of tutorials on how to earn ISK on an Alpha account. Which one suits you best? Choose for yourself. Crab to all 0 /
