Light Assault is an infantry class distinguished by its high mobility on the battlefield, which compensates for its limited weapon selection compared to heavy infantry. A key advantage of this class is its access to a jetpack, which has four modifications: the standard one allows for climbing structures and elevated surfaces, as well as hovering in the air thanks to its versatility.
The "Ikarus" module is designed for climbing elevated surfaces, providing increased vertical takeoff. The "Roamer" modification allows for virtually indefinite hovering, at the expense of vertical takeoff (which is relatively slow). The "Raider" module allows for a 10-20 meter jump in a given direction on a cooldown, designed for entering and escaping the battlefield and engaging infantry.
The class's signature feature is its jetpack, which allows for climbing rooftops and trees, hovering in the air, jumping behind an enemy, and attacking them from unexpected angles.
1) Router :
This fit is primarily used to transport the router from your base to enemy territory, onto rooftops or trees where it's hard to reach. This allows allied infantry to spawn through the router. A shotgun is helpful when the router is first found, as 1-2 infantry are usually afkshited there. When jumping from a fighter with a router, you can glide behind the enemy and kill them with a shotgun in 1-2 shots, then place the router back. This fit can also be used to search for enemy armored vehicles, hover above them, and blow them up with explosives. Implants include a motion sensor, and when jumping from an aircraft, invisibility for 7 seconds.
2) Flashbangs:
A rig for spamming grenades in enclosed spaces. You get 4 flashbangs, which works well when assaulting bases. In implants, health restoration, as well as armor - removes the shield, but increases max HP.
3) Fragmentation:
Like the previous fit, spamming grenades, but these are combat-grade for enclosed spaces and doorways. Four available.
4) Pilot:
A fighter jet rig to help you survive and recover from a downed Raven without being killed by the enemy. This prevents them from getting killed. In implants, enemy HP is displayed while aiming, and you can jump from the fighter in a 7-second cloak.
